From Milwaukee: New Funding through PSN for the City's Community Victim Witness Program

US Attorney Matthew Krueger (Eastern District of Wisconsin) announced the Department of Justice awarded a two-year grant to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office and the City of Milwaukee through PSN to reduce firearm violence through a Community Victim Witness Program.

The program will embed the program's representatives in divisions of the Milwaukee Police Department that investigate non-fatal shootings in an effort to better support victims immediately after incidents involving a firearm.

This is another example of a PSN team working to support victims while also addressing violent crime in their community.
